In my last article, I talked about the upcoming dance of Jupiter moving towards the conjunction with Saturn all throughout next year culminating at ½ degree of Aquarius Dec 21, 2020. After discussing the meaning and intentions of Jupiter as well as Saturn more in-depth now we will find a deeper understanding of the Saturn conjunction with Pluto on Jan 12, 2020, and then the Jupiter conjunction with Pluto three times in April, June and Nov 2020.
Pluto the God of the Underworld and Death
Whenever Pluto is activated in our life, we feel challenged by deep unconscious psychological material coming into the forefront of our consciousness. Often this is played out by other people in our lives representing the transformative powers of Pluto. Most of the time we don’t really sign up voluntarily for a Pluto time of deep inner changes resulting in the need to reinvent ourselves.
I have seen relationships break apart under a Pluto transit to Venus. I have seen long evolved legal action in connection with the Sun. I have seen the onset of severe health problems with Pluto on the Ascendant. These are just examples to see how significant and impactful a Pluto transit is.
In evolutionary astrology we believe that all planets have high end and low-end possibilities to manifest depending on your state of consciousness, choices are available to you. The whole point is to be prepared and find chosen high-end ways to manifest planetary principles instead of facing the dark stuff.
That especially holds true for so-called “hard” planetary aspects. We should be motivated to find voluntary ways to greet God Pluto and express him as conscious as possible. The coming year holds many possibilities and actualizations and pushes us to grow and make significant changes in our lives.
Our inner world is reflected in our outer life.
If we don’t like our outer manifestations, we need to start looking inwardly and contemplate where we have outgrown our present structures (Saturn) and where we need new goals and more meaningful life (Jupiter).
So with Pluto, we are always outgrowing something. A part of us is transforming into a new dimension. But in order to step forward into the new, we have to let go that something old, we might have been identified with for a long time.
Globally we all have to deal with the influence of Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto throughout the coming year and beyond. All of them in Capricorn will rock the boat with governmental structures and powers. Societal and economical tumult will be part of changing the ruling paradigm.
As a human race, we are challenged to find new ways of being in the world, taking care of the environment, for Mother Earth if we want to continue living on this planet. By now climate change has become obvious to everybody. It is not if you believe it or not. The signs are there: the wildfires everywhere, too much heat in the summer where it didn’t use to be, floods and heavy rains. With that acknowledgment comes the realization that huge changes in all our lifestyles are needed.
The good news is that we as individuals have a lot of power through how and where we spend our money. And how we organize our own life.
How big is your CO2 imprint you are adding to the whole? Are you still driving a big gasoline gobbling car? Or have you changed to a hybrid or electric car? Have you installed solar energy?
How often do you just fly somewhere with a plane without even thinking about it? I have been guilty of that. How much new stuff do we need all the time? We have been brought up in a society of throwing things away instead of repairing them. How often are you replacing old fashion with new fashion?
Greta Thunberg has left a big impression as a 16-year-old who is able to express the substantial worries of the future generations who are not sure that there will be an earth left for them to live on. The realization that the train of destruction has almost left the station will be pushed into each of our individual consciousness next year. The time for waking up and profound change is NOW! And that is Pluto!
In redefining our goals, intentions (Jupiter) and organizing a new, practical approach to find solutions (Saturn) we can do true Pluto transformation and prepare for the future.
