How to Use your 2nd Chakra: Svadhisthâna Chakra

Svadhisthana chakra is useful to generate positive emotions and thoughts and improve your psychic and physical vitality.

Practice positive thinking

When you want to have more positive thoughts or experience more pleasant emotions, you should rely on a regular stimulation of your second chakra.

  • Take 5 or 10 minutes just for you.
  • Move to a quiet place that you like where no one will disturb you.
  • Sit down on a chair in a comfortable position, with your back straight, hands flat on your thighs, palms turned up to the sky.
  • Close your eyes and focus on your abdominal breathing. Start breathing in through the nose while inflating your abdomen, then block the air for 2 to 3 seconds. Then breathe out through the mouth by contracting your abdomen and block your breathing for 2 to 3 seconds.
  • Repeat this cycle of abdominal breathing for 5 minutes or 50 full abdominal breathing cycles in a row (at a pace of 10 cycles per minute).
  • By the end of this exercise, you should feel less tension, less anxiety, less fear, and feel more optimistic and healthier.

  • Visualize or focus on the image of your 2nd chakra for 5 minutes or 50 abdominal breathing cycles, thinking that from now on you only want to think positive thoughts. Say, for instance: “Let the visualization of my Svadhisthana chakra help me generate more positive thoughts from now on.”
  • As you keep focusing on the image of your chakra for 5 minutes or 50 abdominal breathing cycles, visualize yourself thinking positive thoughts like:

“I will be optimistic as I lead my life now, through the practice of positive thinking!”

  • Finish this exercise by saying in a firm voice: “My Svadhisthana chakra has now been activated and will help me to progressively increase the optimistic thoughts that I think or the positive emotions that I express.”
  • Repeat this ritual at least once a week until you regularly think positive thoughts or feel more pleasant emotions.

Useful advice

This visualization exercise won’t be enough on its own to let you automatically generate positive thoughts or experience pleasant emotions, but it will make it easier for you if you do it regularly.

You still must play your part by tapping into the creative ideas that will come to your mind in order to practice positive thinking or feel more and more emotions that will increase your well-being.

  • As you keep focusing on the image of your chakra for 5 minutes or 50 abdominal breathing cycles, visualize yourself in great psychic and physical shape.
  • Finish this exercise by saying in a firm voice:

“My Svadhisthana chakra has now been activated so that I might constantly benefit from powerful psychic energy and great physical vitality!”

  • Repeat this ritual at least once a week until you are constantly in a good mood and/or have a high level of physical energy

Useful advice

This visualization exercise won’t be enough on its own to increase your physical energy and psychic vitality, but it will make it happen sooner. You can also use dietary supplements to that effect, but you should at least have a healthy lifestyle and a balanced way of life.
