Modern Developments in the Origins of Astrology

Modern astrology, like humanity, has evolved over the years. Over the centuries, we have not only developed but also expanded our consciousness. Branches of mathematical, scientific and technological advances have given us more control over what occurs in our lives inside the physical universe.

As a result, astrology was no longer entirely derived from fear as it was for the people in the past. In the present day, the most effective use of astrology is to plan, gain awareness regarding our lives and understand our relationships.

Astrology as a cycle

Some may have started considering Astrology as a cycle where the movements of the celestial bodies were observed and studied to acquire an understanding of our lives and the patterns in it. It can be a powerful healing tool for those who intend to transform as individuals with better spiritual connections. It may not be fortune telling, but it can be used as an effective predictive tool.  It provides us with insight and unlocks our highest potentials to understand and equip ourselves properly with the harmony of the universe and how everything around us is interconnected. It depicts how things rely on one another. Astrology is oftentimes mistaken as astronomy even though the differences are quite evident between the two. One is a science whereas another only has a connection with it.

Now we understand the modern fact that the earth tilts on its axis. The predictions of horoscopes are changing regardless of the zodiac signs origins.

Since the Earth continuously moves on its axis and keeps revolving around the Sun, it provides itself as a reason to why it seems as though the stars are moving across the sky at night. But, previously, humans were unaware and spent a considerable amount of time wondering what was happening up there in the sky. Even with astrology being an excellent tool to explain this phenomenon, it also demonstrates the motions of the solar bodies in space. It may even explain why our universe is in a constant state of motion. Moreover, studying the origins of astrology does not only elaborate on the history of the zodiac, but also the cultures that developed it. Much of the stars we know today have been pulled along and out of the past from the actual history of astrology.
