Modern astrology, like humanity, has evolved over the years. Over the centuries, we have not only developed but also expanded our consciousness. Branches of mathematical, scientific and technological advances have given us more control over what occurs in our lives inside the physical universe.

As a result, astrology was no longer entirely derived from fear as it was for the people in the past. In the present day, the most effective use of astrology is to plan, gain awareness regarding our lives and understand our relationships.

But, previously, humans were unaware and spent a considerable amount of time wondering what was happening up there in the sky. Even with astrology being an excellent tool to explain this phenomenon, it also demonstrates the motions of the solar bodies in space. It may even explain why our universe is in a constant state of motion. Moreover, studying the origins of astrology does not only elaborate on the history of the zodiac, but also the cultures that developed it. Much of the stars we know today have been pulled along and out of the past from the actual history of astrology.
