Radiating feminine energy is all the buzz at the moment, I don’t know about you, but my algorithm is full of videos showcasing women embracing their divine feminine energy. As someone who has spent most of her life being quite masculine, I find this really inspiring.

I have seen the benefits of being more in my feminine over the last few years, and I can see how much it has changed my life. I no longer want to control every outcome, I am less anxious, I feel more beautiful, and it is a lot easier for me to attract what I want. Feminine energy is an attitude some women carry in their day-to-day lives. This attitude influences their behaviour and the way they show up in the world. This energy describes someone who is soft, nurturing, caring, playful, sensual, compassionate, vulnerable, intuitive and empathetic.

It is an energy of being instead of the masculine way of doing and leading. Feminine energy receives and responds. It is about attracting what you want in life, without chasing after it. It is about sitting back and letting good things come to you.

Prioritize Your Self-care

Although self-care is a bit of a buzz word, it is so for a reason because of how important it is. For you to be in your feminine energy, you need to be able to put yourself first and KNOW that you have worth.

Self-care is about spoiling yourself and making yourself feel good. This makes you responsible for the way you feel about yourself. Through this, you gain more respect for who you are, and you are less dependent on others to make you happy.

Here are some ways you can enjoy self-care:

  • Writing in your journal about the things you are grateful for
  • Going to the hair salon regularly
  • Reading a book on self-improvement
  • Drinking a warm beverage and savouring every sip
  • Taking a long walk in nature
  • Having a warm bath with essential oils/bubble bath/bath salts
  • Doing gentle exercises such as yoga or Pilates
  • Getting enough sleep
  • Eating nutritious and nourishing meals

It doesn’t really matter what you do, as long as you are taking moments out of your day where you prioritize yourself and do something that makes you feel good.


Meditation has so many countless benefits, but if you are serious about embracing your feminine energy, then meditation is definitely something you might want to add to your day-to-day routine.

Taking a few moments to quiet your mind in stillness and just be is literally the definition of feminine energy. As I mentioned before, this energy is all about being and not doing.

Simply quiet your mind for a few minutes every day and connect with your breath. This should help to soothe your nervous system and get you in a mode to receive energy instead of leaking it out everywhere.

Set Healthy Boundaries

Setting healthy boundaries is the cornerstone of feminine energy. Having boundaries with people means that you know your worth and won’t allow anyone to treat you less than what you know you deserve. This is the ultimate act of self-love because you will not stand for any ill-treatment.

Some might think that having boundaries is more of a masculine trait, but knowing when to say no and stepping back is the pinnacle of feminine energy. You are letting people know where you stand and that they can’t abuse your kindness and caring nature.

This one is really tough to master, I know, speaking from experience. It is really easy to get roped into other people’s dramas and before I even know it I am trying to fix and solve things for others.

However, stepping back and only giving energy to the things and people that give me energy has taught me a lot about who I am, and what makes me happiest in my life.

Listen To Subliminals/Affirmation Tapes

One of the most powerful changes I personally made to increase my goddess energy was by starting to listen to subliminals and affirmation tapes targeted at increasing femininity and beauty.

Every night when I go to sleep I put on one of these tracks and I quickly noticed how I started investing a lot more in the way I look and taking better care of my appearance, but I also started to feel more confident.

The number of compliments I would get from strangers was crazy. I just started feeling so good about myself, this is when I really started to see the value in cultivating that feminine energy. Not only did I start feeling more beautiful, others started mirroring this to me as well.

Use Affirmations And Matras

Repeating affirmations or mantras every day to boost your feminine energy is a wonderful way to invoke your goddess energy. It is a very simple, yet effective way to make yourself feel good and to boost your confidence.

Here are some of my favourite affirmations:

  • My energy is sacred
  • I effortlessly create beauty in my life
  • I receive and attract with ease
  • I embrace my femininity
  • I am magnetic
  • I don’t chase, I attract
  • I am enough
  • My intuition always guides me
  • My body is a sacred gift
  • I carry myself with poise and elegance
  • I take pride in my appearance
  • I let go and trust that everything is always working out in my favour
  • I honour my divine goddess energy
  • I am joyful and playful
  • I have loving relationships and connections
  • I am aligned with my soul’s purpose

Repeat these affirmations whenever you feel like you are going into your masculine energy. Remind yourself that your power comes from leaning back and being. 

Dress More Feminine

There was a time in my life when I was always wearing super baggy, masculine clothing because I wanted to hide my body and my inherent femininity. I didn’t want anyone to look at me.

It took a lot of inner work for me to get to a place to really appreciate and love my body. But since I have been able to do that, the way I started to dress has changed tremendously. I know where a lot more skirts and dresses because it helps me feel more feminine.

And funnily enough, this has made me feel more powerful and confident, when before I thought hiding and dressing more masculine would make me feel that way. You’ll see that wearing skirts or dresses feels natural and it’ll help you to feel in flow.

Listen To Your Intuition

As a woman, your intuition is one of the greatest gifts you have been given. It is always trying to tell you something. It is that little voice in your head giving you deeper insight into the things you cannot see but simply know.

You are doing a great disservice to yourself by not listening to this sacred gift you have been given. Why not trust in yourself and start paying closer attention to your intuition? This may feel strange at first, but the more you listen, the easier it will become to hear.

If you do this you’ll notice that making decisions will become a lot easier, you’ll start to feel happier and lighter, but you will also attract more abundance and prosperity into your life because you are allowing the Universe to flow through you. 

When something feels good, pursue it, when it stops feeling good, stop it immediately. This is how simple your intuition works. Always follow your heart and listen carefully to what it is trying to say.

Set Up A Divine Altar

Creating a sacred space in your home is a wonderful way to boost feminine energy and honour the goddess within you. Create a little altar of sacred items such as candles, flowers, and crystals. It is your altar, you make the rules.

This could be the space where you do your meditation or journaling, or it can simply be a spot in your home that reminds you to connect with your femininity. It really doesn’t have to be complicated.

Be More In Your Heart

It is so easy for me to be stuck in my head, repeating old negative beliefs and patterns. I overanalyze and think of ways where I can find solutions because it gives me a feeling of control when I experience anxiety.

However, embracing my feminine energy has helped me to move away from a space of always being in my mind, and instead allowing myself to make decisions from a heartspaced place.

Being in my feminine energy means using compassion, intuition, trust, unity, and kindness when making decisions. It means that I don’t have to micromanage every aspect of my life and that I can simply trust everything is going to work out perfectly.

This means that things that used to give me a lot of anxiety and stress, I can step away from. I trust that I will find the solution with ease, and I don’t stress myself out further by creating more drama from the narrative in my head.

As a woman, embracing your femininity can help improve your life in so many different ways. I can honestly say stepping into my power as a feminine being has made my life so much better in so many different ways.

Here are a few to mention:

  • The stress in your life decreases because you no longer need to control everything
  • You become more beautiful because you are taking better care of yourself
  • You get to relax and rest without feeling guilty
  • Abundance and prosperity just flow into your life with ease
  • Your health and well-being improve dramatically
  • You feel more connected to the cycles of nature
  • The amount of drama in your life decreases
  • You gain increased self-awareness and know when you have stepped out of your femininity
  • You feel more grounded, balanced, and centred
  • It is easier for you to feel happier
