Key Numerology Numbers for February 2021

Numerology is the study of numbers as meaningful constructs related to human consciousness.  Numbers occupy our lives in many ways, starting with number values associated with the letters of words, especially our names.

We have the numbers of our birthday, month, and year.  Most countries have a number sequence for citizens (in the United States, it is the 9-digit Social Security Number or SSN).  Most of us have a phone number; if we drive a car, we have a number plate.  Each word and sequence of numbers reduces to a number between 1 and 9, and each of those numbers has spiritual meaning.

This article will explore the number meaning of this month and this month + this year.

The Two Numbers for Each Month

Each month of the year has two key numbers: the number of the month itself and the total of the month number plus the year number.  February is the 2nd month of the year, and thus a 2.  February 2021 is 022021 or 7.

The Number 2 Month

According to Faith Javane and Dusty Bunker in Numerology and the Divine Triangle, the number 2 represents harmony, cooperation, meditation, and passivity (41).  Further, they identify this number with the 2nd card of the Major Arcana in the Tarot, the High Priestess. “The High Priestess symbolizes the subconscious mind, the receptive, reproductive, and form-building power within the human organism” (128).

The second month of each new year is seen as a time to connect and it boasts the holiday of love, Valentine’s Day.  Who do you love?  Who is your partner and what do want and need from a partnership?  Since this month focuses on partnership, it is important to understand the shift from a 4 year (2020) to a 5 year (2021).  In 2020 the stable and persistent relationships (4) were rocked by the pandemic.  The transition (5) work for all our relationships will be one of the important processes of this year.

The Number 7 for 02/2021

The calculation to a 7 for 02/2021 makes this a month to focus on self-analysis, achievement, and health problems (41).  The number 7 has five representations in a tarot deck: the Major Arcana 7, the Chariot; the 7 of Cups, Debauch; the 7 of Swords, Futility; the 7 of Pentacles, Failure; and the 7 of Wands, Valor.

The Sun and Moon Tarot

There is a deeply challenging quality to the number 7, which requires the willpower of the Chariot to see us through.  The 7 of Cups reminds us that we have to manage our emotions, or they will lead us into relationships that are unhealthy through over-indulgence.  We all face moments of failure; how we deal with those moments is crucial to our development (7 of Pentacles).  At key moments in our life, we must address futile goals and relationships (7 of Swords).  And lastly, we must stand our ground for what we know is right, even when faced with overwhelming odds (7 of Wands).

Your Number and the 2 and 7 this Month

It is rather easy to calculate your life path number; it is simply the total of your birthday reduced to a single digit.  In my case, I was born 04/12/1968, which equals 31, which reduces to a 4.  My life path is about working hard, establishing a solid foundation, and staying within my limits.

In relation to the number 2, I should think about how I take care of the people I am responsible for and to in my daily life.  The number 7 reminds me that through a strong sense of purpose, I will be able to achieve what I need for my intimate partner, my family, and my friendships.

If you happen to have a life path number 1 (The Pioneer)

This month will focus on what you need to do to make sure your relationships are strong and giving you what you need (2).  Making sure you are living in your integrity (7) will keep your relationships moving in a positive direction.

If you happen to have a life path number 2 (The Partner)

This month you need to spend more time communicating and supporting what you need from them and getting what they need from you (2); it is a month for teamwork. It will be important for the two of you to have a shared purpose and matching beliefs about how to move through life together (7).

If you happen to have a life path number 3 (The Creator)

This month you should discover and initiate some form of creativity with your partner (2).  Once you know what the two of you want to do creatively, make sure you both feel a strong sense of purpose working on the task together (7) to find even more fulfilling creative expression.

If you happen to have a life path number 4 (The Builder)

You should think about and put energy into the activities and choices that will support the long-term goals of your partnership (7).  Recognizing that you need to take care of each other (2) in order to be able to have a safe and stable life is crucial.

If you happen to have a life path number 5 (The Traveler)

You need to seek out your purpose (7) in a shared journey (2) with your partner.  If you are single, your explorations this month should be about your search for partnership.

If you happen to have a life path number 6 (The Educator)

You, teaching what you know, will help the most people because that knowledge is what gives you purpose (7).  Find partners (2) who can help you get the word out and provide service to those in need.

If you happen to have a life path number 7 (The Mystic)

You may find your role as a mystic requires you to deepen your understanding of partnership and loving relationships (2) to be able to better understand your spiritual role in this lifetime (7).

If you happen to have a life path number 8 (The Leader)

You need to be a guiding light for the people who look to you (2) for direction and leadership.  Acting with purpose, especially based on a sense of divine inspiration (8), will inspire others to follow suit, allowing more and more people to find their own sense of purpose.

If you happen to have a life path number 9 (The Counselor)

You want to make sure you have someone who can counsel you (2).  Your strong sense of purpose (7) will also help others to “find themselves” as they try to understand how they need to be in partnership in this life.
