Find Your Love Match Using Your Mercury Sign

Find Your Love Match Using Your Mercury Sign

With the rise in popularity of astrology, people are beginning to learn that there is so much more to their astrological profile than just their Sun sign. Your full astrological profile is found in your birth chart, which is a two-dimensional representation of the layout of the solar system at the time you were born. Not only was the Sun in a particular sign when you were born, but so was every other astronomical body. This article will explore how to find your love match using your Mercury sign…

Each astronomical body becomes a point represented by an icon in a computer-generated birth chart. And, each point contributes to the complexity of your personality. So, finding your romantic partner is not just about how your Sun matches with someone else’s Sun, but also how your Mercurys match, and Mercury, and Venus, and so on.

Getting Your Birth Chart

It has never been easier to get your birth chart calculated, thanks to computer programs and online applications. AskAstrology has one: Birth Chart Calculator. Simply go to that page and scroll down to What is My Zodiac Sign? and enter the relevant information.

After you do so, the program will calculate your birth chart and give you an image that looks like. If you scroll down below the image, you will find a list of all the Planets and Points in the Signs that will tell you which point was in which sign at the time of your birth. Find your Mercury Sign and let’s continue!

Mercury

Each point is elemental, and rules a sign and house in the Zodiac. Mercury is different because it has two rulerships, giving it two elemental values.

In one case it is an air point, which rules Gemini and the 3rd House. Air represents thought; Gemini rules communication, learning, and curiosity; and the 3rd House rules one’s understanding of the world, day-to-day interactions, and extended family (siblings if you have them, and other family members that are not your core family).

In the other case it is an earth point, which rules Virgo and the 6th House. Earth represents our material needs; Virgo rules health, skills, and practical action; and the 6th House rules day-to-day work, service, and commerce.

Mercury represents your Way of Communicating. Its placement in Sign and House reveals how we try to make sense of the world around us and develop our own internal dialogue, which we then try to communicate back into the world as we navigate our interactions.

With Mercury in Aries, I am an independent, maverick, and individualistic communicator. I communicate best in careers, relationships, and families that promote freedom. And, I prefer to make decisions by being assertive, direct, impulsive, fearless, and impatient.

Finding Your Match

As you might guess, when it comes to finding your match, it will get more complicated as you learn more about your chart, but it will also get more satisfying when you make a connection and understand where energy flows and where it struggles. Just by adding Mercury’s sign to your awareness, you can see how it can get tricky if you are, say, a Scorpio Sun, Leo Moon, and Virgo Mercury. Your Sun will prefer earth signs, your Moon will prefer fire and air signs, and your Mercury will prefer water signs.

In truth, all signs can find compatibility with all other signs because we are clearly more than our charts. However, the more you know about your design, the better you can be in a relationship and at making worthwhile and loving connections.
